Since its inception, SoundDiegoLIVE -- a celebration of art, music, and community -- has attracted top local talent, including the Silent Comedy, Josh Damigo and Rafter (all recent San Diego Music Award recipients). The mobile monthly event hosted by Chris Cantore has infiltrated Bar Pink, the House of Blues, Quality Social and Bar Basic with a passionate group of tech-savvy, music lovers. A supersized interactive “tweet-wall” gives attendees the ability to tweet in real-time, and every event is packaged with a local brewer serving hosted (or free beer) for an hour ... Yes!
This Thursday, from 8-11 p.m., SoundDiegoLIVE will be at the West Coast Tavern on University Avenue in North Park. The latest incarnation is being curated by our very own Rosey from sdDialedIn.com and will features Karl Strauss Oktoberfest brew and apps (from 8-9 p.m.), a bloggers roundtable with SoundDiego’s Chris Cantore, Owl&Bear and Gwen Jackson, and a live performance by D/Wolves. Described as “freakpop/mud/noise-fi” on their Facebook page, the San Diego-based four-piece has played high-profile gigs at the Casbah and recently released the following (trippy) video:
