Primus: Pioneers of the alt-rock movement, Primus maintains their position as one of the quirkiest and eccentric rock bands in the industry. Primus tour dates are currently scheduled throughout 2011. The So-Cal rockers formed in high school and released their debut album, Frizzle Fry, in 1990. The album earned them a recording contract and the opening spot on Jane's Addiction's national tour. They released their major label debut, Sailing the Seas of Cheese, and earned a Platinum plaque for their efforts. The album was instrumental in beginning the era of the alt-rock format and was hailed as an instant classic. In 1993, Primus tour dates were scheduled as the headlining act on the Lollapalooza festival.

Other Primus hit albums include Pork Soda (1993) and Tales From the Punchbowl (1995), which were certified Platinum and Gold respectively. Since hitting the mainstream in the '90s, Primus has continued to tour and record. Primus tour dates were scheduled on several high-profile tours including the Family Values Tour and Ozzfest in 1999. They most recently released Green Naugahyde in 2011, and have been on the road to support the project ever since. The Guinea Pig Tour is currently underway with Primus tour dates scheduled throughout the US this 2011.
