The Sky Tonight Planetarium Show presents the sky in San Diego as it appears on the night of the planetarium show. The Dec. 2 presentation, led by a local astronomer, will feature "Constellations of Winter." Weather and operational requirements permitting, the San Diego Astronomy Association provides free telescope viewing outdoors on the Prado in Balboa Park. This is a separate free event held on the first Wednesday of every month. Planetarium show tickets are not required.
