Booker T. best known as the leader of Booker T. and the MGs is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner. Booker T. led the MGs - one of the first racially integrated soul groups - to national success with the hit instrumental Green Onions. Recognized as the heart and soul of the Memphis sound - a combination of blues, soul and rock and roll - Booker T. has lent his legendary keyboard chops to artists like Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton and Neil Young and has produced albums for Willie Nelson.
