The HMV Hammersmith Apollo London opened in 1932 as the Gaumont Palace cinema. After numerous changes of owners and in name, it finally became the HMV Hammersmith Apollo London in January 2009.

The HMV Hammersmith Apollo London is undoubtedly one of the capital's top live performance venues, a feat that is evidenced by the list of musical acts which have featured on the HMV Hammersmith schedule at one time or another; Kings of Leon, Bob Dylan, The Police, The White Stripes, Greenday, The Beatles, Tori Amos, Kylie Minogue, Oasis, Regina Spektor and The Black Eyed Peas are just a few of the stars to have graced HMV Hammersmith Apollo London stage over the years.
