Rascal Flatts: They are country music's hit making trio known for their up-tempo and soulful harmonies, hectic touring schedule, and not to mention that they are the biggest selling country group of the 2000s. The guys are currently on tour promoting their most recent release, "Nothing Like This." The Rascal Flatts concert schedule has them playing over thirty shows this spring and summer, 2011.

Just like those that came before them, the guys started out paying their dues on the Nashville country scene playing honky-tonks, looking for bandmates, and begging for record deals. They started out collaborating with country singer Chely Wright before they were noticed by a Lyric Street Records A&R exec. Doug Howard signed the guys to a deal in 1999 after hearing their harmonious vocals and their stripped down acoustic stylings. Their self-titled debut was released in 2000 and featured the hit single, "Prayin' for Daylight," and "I'm Movin' On," which won Song of the Year at the ACM Awards in 2002. Rascal Flatts tour dates were booked as the opening act for Jo Dee Messina on her "Burn," tour in 2000-2001. The guys liked the taste of touring so much that they have been on the road annually ever since.

With their sophomore set, "Melt," the band enjoyed increased commercial success and a bigger spotlight. The album featured the #1 hits, "These Days," and "Mayberry," both of which highlighted their harmonious and uplifting style. To support the album, Rascal Flatts tour dates included stints as the opening act for Brooks & Dunn's "Neon Circus & Wild West Show," as well as "Kenny Chesney's "Guitars, Tiki Bars & Whole Lotta Love Tour." The guys kept recording and released their third effort, "Feels Like Today," in 2004. "Bless This Broken Road," the lead off single spent five weeks at #1 and has been played at countless weddings since its release. The album also yielded "Fast Cars and Freedom," which was a #1 hit for the trio. Rascal Flatts first headlining tour, "Here's to You," had the band on the road for over a year throughout 2004-2005.

By 2005, the band had garnered a huge following and was fast becoming one of the decade's top selling acts. They released their fourth album, "Me and My Gang," in 2006, which immediately shot to #1 selling 722,000 units in its maiden week and becoming the hugest release of the year. The accompanying, "Me and My Gang Tour," sold nearly 600,000 tickets and became the third highest grossing country tour of 2007. The band followed up with two more Billboard topping albums, "Still Feels Good," in 2007 and "Unstoppable," in 2009, both of which have been certified platinum.

The guys have continued to achieve commercial and critical success. They have garnered ten ACM awards, eight CMA awards, and they were recognized for their contribution to the entertainment industry with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010! They released their most recent effort, "Nothing Like This," and are currently on the road to support the album. The Rascal Flatts concert scheduled includes the "Flatts Fest Tour 2011," which has the band performing at forty shows throughout spring and summer. Rascal Flatts tour dates are scheduled nationally and tickets are on sale. Use Eventful as your source for Rascal Flatts tour dates and concert schedule updates.

The Band Perry: For The Band Perry, country music is a family affair. The group, fronted by big sister Kimberly and supported by younger brothers Reid and Neil, became country music's breakout act in 2010. The massive success of their single "If I Die Young", was followed by accolades and Platinum plaques. Now, The Band Perry has embarked on a national tour on the opening stage for country superstar Tim McGraw. Don't miss the Band Perry tour dates along the Emotional Traffic Tour this Summer, 2011. The Alabama trio began touring together when Kimberly was a solo-act with Reid and Neil, then 8 and 10, serving as her opening act. They put their forces together in 2005 and booked tour dates as The Band Perry on the New Faces of Country Tour in 2005. They were finally discovered in 2008 by Garth Brooks' manager and were signed to fledging Nashville start-up label Republic Nashville. The cultivation process was short and in 2009, The Band Perry released their debut single "Hip to My Heart" and due to the success quickly put a record together. They released a self-titled EP in April, 2009 to capitalize on a hit single while forging ahead in the studio and with tour dates.

By 2010, The Band Perry became formidable country stars when "If I Die Young" hit country radio. The single was a massive triumph becoming the act's first #1 single and receiving a double-Platinum certification. The single brought The Band Perry commercial success and they were lauded by the country music community. In 2011, the group was awarded the Top New Artist and Top New Duo awards at the Academy of Country Music ceremonies and they were nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Song.

The Band Perry scored another country hit in 2011 with "You Lie" off their self-titled debut album which has since been certified Gold. The Band Perry was last year's breakout success and they are currently riding the wave of their monumental debut. Don't miss a date on the Band Perry concert schedule 2011 and their national tour with Tim McGraw. Use Eventful as your source for The Band Perry tour dates and concert tour information.
